Coach

Bob Schilling would be the coach-of-choice for senior executives of organizations with mission-critical mandates. These include public safety, vital installations and utilities and other strategic organizations.

Bob coaches top executives – regardless of their organizations’ business field or strategic mandate – in leading, managing and navigating through uncertain, volatile and intensely competitive times and environments. As executive coach, Bob’s approach focuses on people leading people; sustaining the critical awareness of self and situation needed in running operations and enterprises that leave little margin for error and unreliability.

Prior to his involvement in Human Capital Development, Bob amassed nearly 25 years’ management and leadership experience with the New York City Mass Transit Authority (MTA) Bridges and Tunnels (1983–1996) where he became Director of Administration; Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (1970–1980) where he held responsibility for rail programs and also ground transport at JFK International Airport. He also held the post of Deputy Director of Operations, Saudi Public Transport System (1980–1983).

In 1996 Bob went on to establish Robert C. Schilling Consulting. Today he is a sought-after executive coach and a managing partner at Schilling & Maure and a director with Human Capital Development.

Bob attended Whittier College (BA History and Political Science), University of Southern California (Master of Public Administration). He is a Certified Personal Effectiveness Coach (New Ventures West) and has Devine Inventory accreditation for “Coaching to Excellence.”

He also holds memberships with the International Coach Federation and Institute of Management Consultants.
