Tamara Hofman

Facilitator

Tamara is a facilitator and coach and she brings over 15 years of experience in Leadership and Talent Development, Change management and HR Consulting, both in Europe and Asia.

She has launched her international career in an organization which went through major changes. Here she developed both her consultative selling skills as her insights in change processes. She worked with people within the organization to establish the required change and build up an international business portfolio. This encouraged her to move towards a consulting role in which she advised people on building diverse and strong teams and coaching numerous professionals on their career development.

At Philips Electronics, a Fortune 100 multinational she became responsible for a major cultural and organizational change within the HR organization while leading a team of HR consultants. She realized the required change both within her team and within the overall HR organization. Becoming an expert in change processes, she started working within the sales organization of Philips Lighting. The LED innovation will change the lighting market completely which requires a new service portfolio and way of working throughout the organization. Within a global team, she worked on defining the strategy for this change while ensuring implementation in the commercial organization. Within Philips she has coached a great part of her team members aiming to use their potential to its full extend. Being a top potential within the organization, she was responsible to coach talents and support them in their development.

She learned that coaching people on their development and support teams going through change processes was her biggest driver. Therefore she became a professional facilitator and coach when she moved to Singapore in 2010. She has worked with organizations on team building and development through team- and individual coaching. She now continues her work, based in Shanghai.

Tamara holds an engineering and marketing degree which she obtained in The Netherlands. She is currently preparing for her ICF executive coaching certification.
