Facilitator
Bob’s facilitation and trainer practice is underpinned by years of experience and responsibility for managing mission-critical operations. He understands the skills and competencies that individuals and teams need to develop and sustain performance - especially under demanding circumstances - in public and private enterprise.
Prior to his involvement in Human Capital Development, Bob amassed nearly 25 years’ management and leadership experience with the New York City Mass Transit Authority (MTA) Bridges and Tunnels (1983–1996) where he became Director of Administration. Before that he served with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (1970–1980) where he held responsibility for rail programs and ground transport at JFK International Airport. He also held the post of Deputy Director of Operations, Saudi Public Transport System (1980–1983).
In 1996, Bob went on to establish Robert C. Schilling Consulting. Today he is a sought-after executive coach and a managing partner at Schilling & Maure and a director with Human Capital Development.
Bob attended Whittier College (BA History and Political Science), University of Southern California (Master of Public Administration). He is a Certified Personal Effectiveness Coach (New Ventures West) and has Devine Inventory accreditation for “Coaching to Excellence.”
He also holds memberships with the International Coach Federation and Institute of Management Consultants.
