Julie is an insightful and rigorous business consultant who effectively bridges the gap between business needs and situational or technical constraints. She has a unique combination of experience in business process re-engineering, technical project coordination, training, coaching and customer service. One of Julie’s specialties is the development of accurate descriptions of business process as actually practiced through carefully structured and facilitated group interviews.

Julie has 15 years of experience in leading business analyses and process re-engineering efforts in both private enterprise and government agencies. She has consistently been able to balance service quality, team development, infrastructure and resources. She has deep experience in training design and delivery. Julie is also a coach and facilitator with an extensive background in advanced communications methods.

Representative clients include a Fortune 100 high tech company, immunization pioneer MedImmune, a Southern California regional water agency, a large privately owned construction company, the investment firms A.G Edwards and Charles Schwab, Los Angeles World Airports, and the County of Los Angeles. Typical projects include:

• Assessment of administrative policies and processes, with a specific focus on their impact on staffing requirements

• Evaluation of the effectiveness of “first responder” interagency emergency communications infrastructure and processes

• Coaching and strategic counsel to mid and upper-level executives

Before becoming a consultant and coach, Julie led call center teams at Silicon Graphics and served as the Training Manager for several San Francisco-based technical and training companies.

Julie holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the California State University at Chico, and has extensive post-graduate education in ontological design and human communication skills.
